We offer a 30-minute grace period for pickups slightly earlier/later than our regular hours. Additional times may be available.

Early-Morning Service

  • Pickups before 6:00am are an additional $1 per minute.
  • Earliest pickup: 4:00am from Hood River.

Late-Night PDX (wheels-down) Arrivals

  • At 9:30pm, an additional fee of $1 per minute applies.

Temporary I-84 Traffic Fare Policy

Due to the ongoing single lane closure near Exit 37, we may temporarily use a metered travel-time fare for Gorge-PDX trips and vice-versa.

Example Fare: $169
Includes up to 70 minutes of travel time. 60 minutes normal drive time.

After 70 minutes, additional travel time is billed at: $1 per minute until arrival.

Normal traffic? Normal fare. Heavy bridge delay? The fare adjusts only for the extra time.

ODOT confirms the McCord Creek project is causing I-84 lane restrictions: one lane in each direction at McCord Creek near Exit 37, with closures continuing until fall 2026.

2. Booking and payments

To book your trip with us, we will create a Square invoice that states all the various details for getting you there. The invoice is payable no later than 3 days before departure. When we drive out from Hood River to pick you up, payment in advance is required. We accept credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.

3. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made at least 72 hours before departure will receive a full refund. Between 72 & 24 hours before departure, we refund 50% of your fare. Within 24 hours of departure there is no refund offered.

4. Passenger responsibilities

We will arrive at your door 3-5 minutes before the appointed time. When meeting at our office, please be a little early. Extra fees may result if you are late.

5. Liability

Gorge PDX Shuttle is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We will not be liable for any delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances. Upon arrival to your destination, please collect all of your belongings.
